Pia Ann Rose Toscano is an American singer from Howard Beach, New York. Toscano placed ninth on the tenth season of American Idol. Considered to be a frontrunner in the competition, her elimination came as a shock to judges Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, and Steven Tyler, all of whom were visibly upset and vocal. Some viewers and media outlets described Toscano's departure as one of the most shocking eliminations in American Idol history.
"Candle in the Wind" is a song with music by Elton John and lyrics by Bernie Taupin. It was originally written in 1973, in honour of Marilyn Monroe, who had died 11 years earlier.

Pierwsze kroki
Na początku mojej przygody stawiałam na muzykę energiczną i melodyjną. Kiedy wydała płytę "Britney" moja fascynacja samą osobą Spears zaczeła maleć. Owszem byłam fanką, ale jej twórczości nie samej Spears. Jej coraz bardziej odważny sexowny wizerunek przeszkadzał mi, bo ja pokochałam Spears za tą dziecięcą, delikatną i zabawną osobowość. Trudno było mi zaakceptować jej zmianę. Totalnie przestałam lubieć Brit po wydaniu płyty "In the zone".
W tym momencie powinnam także wspomnieć o innych piosenkarkach, które były dla mnie wzorem.
Do tego grona należy Christina Aguilera. Jak to prasa utrzymywała - największa rywalka Spears. Dla mnie ich muzyka różniła się i nie traktowałam ich jak rywalki. Christina miała piękny, mocny głos i ciągle dążyła do tego, aby na pierwszym planie był jej głos. Muzyka miała być dopełnieniem. Aguilera przywiązywała wagę do swojego talentu i głosu, który wyróżniał i wyróżnia ją od innych wokalistek. Jej twórczość nie jest tak chwytliwa jak Briteny, a i Christina nie ujmowała zniewalającą choreografią jak jej koleżanka z klubu Myszki Micki. Nowa droga - Metal
Pierwszym zauroczeniem metalowym była piosenka Metallicy Whisky in the jahr, jeszcze za czasów kiedy słuchałam Britney.W dalszym okresie muzyka pop została wyparta całkowicie prze metal. Radykalnie zmieniłam gust muzyczny i całkowicie zrezygnowałam ze słuchania muzyki pop w szerokim pojęciu i zakresie, która przestała mnie ujmować w jakikolwiek sposób. W tamtym czasie przestał mnie zachwycać pop, który był mało ambitny i zbyt banalny. Byłam pod urokiem mocnych brzmień. Kunszt, technika i sposób grania był dla mnie nieziemski i czymś nowym. To była prawdziwa muzyka, której nie zagrał byle kto. Stratovarius, Metallica, a potem Nightwish - to były zespoły które określały moje nowe muzyczne oblicze. Był tylko i wyłącznie metal. Z perspektywy myślę, że wiele bym straciła gdybym tylko i wyłącznie ograniczyła się do muzyki panny Spears i pokrewnych jej wokalistek. Zaczęłam patrzeć inaczej na muzykę i również moje oczekiwania były inne. Dzięki muzyce metalowej poznałam wiele wokalistek o niewiarygodnym talencie: Sharon, Kari czy Anette.
Porwót
Po kilku latach abstynencji, zaczęłam powracać na "stare śmieci". Byłam nieusatysfakcjonowana i brakowało mi czegoś. Zaczęłam z sentymentem przesłuchiwać stare utwory, które kiedyś lubiałam. W trakcie uśwadomiłam sobie, że do dzisiaj podobają mi się. Zrozumiałam, że nie muszę ograniczać się tylko i wyłącznie do jednego gatunku muzycznego, a i tego przecież nie chciałam. Dzisiaj muzyka jest dla mnie sposobem wyrażenia emocji, a nie stylem życia. Nie ograniczam się tylko do jednego stylu muzycznego i jest to najlepsze rozwiązanie. Słucham tego na co mam ochotę. Kiedy ktoś pyta mnie jakiej muzyki słucham trudno jest mi na to pytanie odpowiedzieć. Uwielbiam Evę Cassidy, a ona była jazzową, blusową i folkowa artystką (sama nie potrafiła określić siebie i nie chciała tylko i wyłącznie grać jednego gatunku muzycznego) Z drugiej srony nie słucham typowyej jazzowej muzyki. Słucham metalu, ale nie "jak leci". Mam kilka ulubionych wykonawców. Within Temptation jest jednym z moich ulubionych zespołów metalowych. Jest ciężko określić jaki rodzaj metalu grają. Na każdej płycie dominuje inny styl metalu. Często fani spierają się, gdyż niektórzy zaliczają ich do gothic metalu. Gothic metalu nie lubię, ale utwory WT mają coś, że słucham ich z zachwytem (to za sprawą głosu Sharon). Jeśli chodzi o muzykę pop to też jest kilku wykonawców. Czasami słucham piosenki jakiegoś wykonawcy, ale niekonicznie jestem fanką jego twórczości. Tak np. jest z Rihanna. Nie lubię też muzyki hip hopowej, ale jest kilka takich utworów, które mi się podobają, np. zespołu The Blac Eyed Peas.
Nie nazywam siebie fanką jakiegoś wykonawcy czy zespołu, jeśli już to ich twórczości. Zawsze powtarzam sobie, że nie będę karać dobrej muzyki przez to, że wykonawca jest "głupi". Nie czczę nikogo w sposób szczególny i jeśli wyda marny materiał to nie słucham tego i czekam, aż nagra coś godnego uwagi. Teraz szukam w muzyce jakiegoś przesłania, refleksji i autentyczności danego artysty. Dlatego Britney od dawna jest na samym końcu. Jednak jest na tym końcu, ale to z sentymentu aniżeli z prawdziwego zamiłowania. Dzisiaj podziwiam artystów, którzy wychodzą na scenę i śpiewają tak jak Adele, bez żadnego show i dlatego najczęściej zamiast patrzeć wolę włączyć płytę i słuchać. Nie ma wiekszej miary gwiazdorstwa od tej gdy ktoś wchodzi na scenę tylko uzbrojony w swój głos, a schodzi z niego jako zwycięzca, a publiczność jest zachwycona.

Florence and the Machine is the recording name of English musician Florence Welch and a collaboration of other artists who provide backing music for her voice. Florence and the Machine's sound has been described as a combination of various genres, including rock and soul.
The Machine is the name attributed to her teenage collaboration with Isabella "Machine" Summers. Welch and Summers performed together for a time under the name Florence Robot/Isa Machine. Later, this was shortened to Florence and the Machine as it was felt to be too cumbersome. Welch continued using this name for her band even when Summers parted company with her for a time, although Summers later returned to become her regular keyboard player.
Like most solo singers, Welch relies on a regular line up of musicians to support her in live shows. Kiss with a Fist
was released as the album's lead single on 9 June 2008. The track was featured on the soundtrack to the films Wild Child, Jennifer's Body, and St. Trinian's 2: The Legend of Fritton's Gold, as well as in the television series 90210 and Saving Grace.
Dog Days Are Over
released on 1 December 2008, was recorded with no instruments in a studio the "size of a loo". The song was used in the American television series Gossip Girl, Community and Covert Affairs, in the British television series Skins, in the theatrical trailer for the 2010 comedy-drama film Eat Pray Love and in the Glee episode "Special Education".
Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up)
was released on 22 June 2009 as the third single from the album. Part of the song's melody, as well as the lyric "How quickly the glamour fades", were lifted from New York band Gang Gang Dance's 2008 song "House Jam" without credit on the Lungs liner notes. Members of group noticed this and brought it to the attention of Florence and the Machine's label. Island Records acknowledged infringement and agreed to pay Gang Gang Dance a share of the song's publishing royalties. Welch agreed that she erred and said her intent was to pay homage.
Drumming Song
The single was nominated for "Best Music Video" (alongside Lady Gaga and Mika) at the Q Awards, which took place on 25 October 2009. The song also features on the soundtrack to the 2010 FIFA World Cup Video Game.
You've Got the Love
It is a cover version of the song "You Got the Love" by The Source featuring Candi Staton with a slightly changed name.
Cosmic Love
was released on 5 July 2010 as the sixth and final single from Lungs. The song was featured in several American television shows, including Grey's Anatomy, The Vampire Diaries, V, Nikita and So You Think You Can Dance.
On 12 May 2010, it was announced that Florence and the Machine would provide a track called "Heavy in Your Arms" for the soundtrack to The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, the third film of The Twilight Saga. Eclipse was released in cinemas on 30 June 2010, with "Heavy in Your Arms" playing during the end credits. The music video followed on 7 July 2010.
2011–present: Ceremonials
She claims that much of the inspiration for the second album has been scientific because "a lot of her family are doctors or trying to become doctors, so much of her conversations are fixated on medical stuff." The stint in the studio resulted in two tracks being completed and a new sound being discovered.
Strangeness and Charm
She describes this song as "about seven minutes long and pretty relentless". She debuted the song on 2 May 2010 at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin, Ireland, during their Cosmic Love Tour. Welch described the new sound as "dancey, but it's also dark as well", and explained that it also featured "relentless drums and heavy, droning bass."
In an interview with the Gibson website on 17 February 2011, guitarist Rob Ackroyd described the sound as "a lot less indie and lot more soulful".
The group recorded a cover of Buddy Holly's classic "Not Fade Away" for Rave On Buddy Holly, a tribute album tied to Holly's seventy-fifth birthday year, which was released 28 June 2011.
American R&B singer Beyoncé cited Florence and the Machine as an influence for her fourth studio album 4.

Florence was educated at Thomas's London Day School, where she did well academically. Welch often got in trouble in school for impromptu singing. Welch has been diagnosed with dyslexia and dyspraxia. Following her meteoric rise to fame, she suffered of depression. Upon leaving school, Florence studied at Camberwell College of Arts before dropping out to focus on her music. Welch's fascination with terror and doom was intensified by the death of her grandparents within a few years of each other. At the age 10 Welch witnessed her grandfather's deterioration, and her maternal grandmother, also an art historian, committed suicide when Welch was 14. When Welch was 13 years old, she and her mother moved in with their next door neighbour and his three teenage children. According to Welch: "We get on brilliantly now, but it was a nightmare then. I just used to stay in my room and dance around."

Nie potrafiłabym robić tego, co robi Lady Gaga. Jednocześnie żadna z nich nie potrafi robić tego, co robię ja. Potrafię być równocześnie dobrą i złą dziewczynką.

8. Iron Maiden i mocne brzmienia
W jednym z wywiadów, Gaga ujawniła swą ogromną fascynacje takimi grupami jak Black Sabbath, AC/DC a w szczególności – Iron Maiden. Artystka miała okazję zobaczyć występ grupy podczas swojego pobytu w miejscowości Tampa na Florydzie. Szkoda tylko, że Gaga nie tworzy takiej muzyki, tylko dancowych kawałków.

Moja kariera to nie są pomysły i decyzje innych. To moja wizja, moje inspiracje. Słucham innych, ale jestem na tyle mądra, by wiedzieć, z czego skorzystać. Nigdy nie lekceważcie edukacji.
12. Oddana
- Trzeba żyć swoją sztuką. Nigdy nie zobaczycie mnie w dresach. Nawet w łóżku noszę perły i wysokie obcasy - wyznaje.

She is....the CEO of her own company, singer She lives in Helsingborg. Anette loves to live in the city, but no bigger city than Helsingborg. Her city has appr. 130 000 citizens so that's perfect size for her. She doesn't like to live in a small village where everyone knows her and where she can't be anonymous, so if she would live outside the city it needs to be in the middle of the forest or out by a field.

I am a Christian and I believe in God and Jesus and I pray every day. I go to my church (I live next to it;=) every week to get strength and it gives me peace and strength to carry one every day;=) I have always been Christian and my faith has been there since I was really young and attended church every week. I also sang gospel for many years in my 20s;=) Going to church is wonderful but I appreciate more to go there by myself and pray than to attend the mass. I think whatever we believe in, I think its good to believe in something;=)

What happens with the clothes she used on DPP tour?
She has all her stage clothes in either a storage she uses or her closet. She uses some of them in between the tours . The others will be used in the future tour when doing promo, interviews, signings.

I have Seths name on my right leg and nothing to explain about that;=)
I have my very first tiny tattoo on my right shoulder and that is the treble clef and that of course stands for me loving music.
The big tattoo I have in my back is a gift from the tattoo artist and its called "The songbird".
The tattoo I have on my left foot is about my faith and is a viking cross with the word "TRO" which means faith in english.
My tattoo on my chest up to my shoulder is also about my love of music and it is a big treble clef with notes on it.
On the inside of my right wrist I have a heart and I did that when I met Johan.

She woudnt ever tought to realize one song in swedish. She has been singing in swedish before, in weddings and so on, but it´s not the language she want to use when she sings. She likes to sing in english so that more people can understand what she sing. She doesn't like to sing in swedish. It feels better to sing in english so that doesn´t feel weird at all.
And then being a swede in a finnish band works quite well. It´s a great mix to be swedish singer in the finnish band and sinnging english. Of course they are very different, finns and swedes, but there are also some similarities. The language problem are not so big more than when it comes to irony and some jokes. Irony is quite different between countries she has learned.

She speaks swedish and english. She understand and speak a little bit of french, german and danish, norwegian. She understands a little little bit of finnish.

She prays before she goes on stage and she also does this kinda "smacking" all over my body to get going.

Anette does remember one where a girl threw herself on the concrete before Anette's feet and just cried. It was quite in the beginning and Anette felt a bit "awkward" about it, but it was still of course really nice that she got so happy over seeing Anette. But Anette was worried about her lying there.

If Nightwish ended tommorow, what would she do next?
She would probably do music like now, but also do a "normal" job and she dreams of becoming a midwife so she would study to be that.
On the first photoshoots for Nightwish and half of the DPP Tour she had black hair then switched to blonde. Recently turned to black again. She did colour her hair black when she began in NW and that was something she was asked to do at that time.
She never thought about any other stage name from the start, but then she got the question from the management if she could use Anette Olsson since it´s easier to pronounce and then she thought Anette Olzon was nicer spelling.
