Christina Aguilera is one of pop music's most recognizable voices. Her beautiful melodic voice and amazing range has become a force in the music industry. Aspiring to be a singer is one thing, but to encompass the vocal range of Christina Aguilera takes a considerable amount of talent. Here are some steps to help you have vocal range like Christina Aguilera and stake your claim as a superior vocalist.
Aguilera is said to have the vocal range of a soprano, and has been referred to as the "voice of her generation" and a blue eyed soul singer. Aguilera also topped COVE's list of the 100 Best Pop Vocalists with a score of 50/50 and came fifth in MTV's 22 Greatest Voices in Music. Her rendition of "It's A Man's Man's Man's World" at the 49th Grammy Awards ranked third in the Grammy's Greatest Moments List behind Celine Dion's performance of "My Heart Will Go On" and Green Day's performance of "American Idiot". In an interview, Dion described Aguilera as "probably the best vocalist in the world." Rolling Stone ranked Aguilera at 58 on their list of the 100 Greatest Singers of All Time, the youngest singer on the list.
Describing Aguilera's voice, singing teachers Phyllis Fulford and Michael Mailler said, "The low register is light and tired, the belting register is ample and full, but very scratchy because she screams; and head voice as well as whistle register are light, pure and bright. Her vocal range extends from G below middle C to C♯ one octave above soprano high C (G3 – C♯7). She can belt to F one octave and a third above middle C (F5). She possesses a good-sized technical arsenal. Her trill is solid, she has a big mastery of melismas, and can sustain very long notes." Los Angeles Times writer Margaret Wappler adds Aguilera can deliver "a well-executed legato." However, countertenor Philippe Jaroussky said: "She has no breath support and often sing out of tune. People say she can cover four octave, but it's not true because below A3, the low notes are forced, unsupported, her belting voice is throaty and forced and for her highest notes she doesn't use head voice but falsetto or whistle register, they are disconnected registers. So, she can hit good notes only from A3 to B4. Her melismas are always show-off, they are almost never connected with the rhythm and the structure of the songs."
Since her debut in 1999 Aguilera has been compared to the likes of Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston. David Browne of The New York Times writes, "Aguilera has been one of the foremost practitioners of the overpowering, Category 5 vocal style known as melisma. Ms. Carey, Ms. Houston and Ms. Aguilera, to name its three main champions, are most associated with the period from the late ’80s through the late ’90s." A review in the Los Angeles Times compared Aguilera's vocal stylings to Barbra Streisand, Gladys Knight, and Aretha Franklin adding, "Aguilera's Streisand-esque tendencies are a good thing; they're helping her figure out how to become the "great singer" she's been dubbed since she released her first single, the wise-beyond-its-years "Genie in a Bottle", at 18." Although praised for her vocals, Aguilera has been labeled for oversinging in her songs and concerts. Longtime producer and writer, Linda Perry, commented on working on the record, "Beautiful", saying, "I tried to keep it straight. I told her to get rid of the finger waves. Every time she'd start going into "hoo-ha", I'd stop the tape. I'm like, 'You're doing it again.'" Perry ended up using the first take saying, "She had a hard time accepting that as the final track. It's not a perfect vocal – it's very raw. She knows her voice really well, and she knows what's going on. She can hear things that nobody else would catch."

Instructions
1
Listen to Christina Aguilera's music to help you gain a clear idea of how her voice works. Pay special attention to her ballads such as "Beautiful," "Oh Mother" and "Singing my Song" for the best examples of Aguilera's range.
2
Assess your own vocal range by testing your singing limits on Christina Aguilera songs. Pick two or three of your favorite songs (preferably the ones with the most impressive vocal styling) and try to mimic her style, (pay special attention to tone and the ease at which you can switch octaves).
3
Visit a vocal teacher and have them help you to assess your vocal classification. Christina Aguilera is a spinto soprano (which can soar to dramatic vocal heights quite easily and return to a base octave without strain). Aspire to develop a range that reaches from middle C to high D to help you develop a range akin to Aguilera's.
4
Record yourself singing scales, and notice where your voice naturally breaks and where it becomes difficult for you to effortlessly reach the notes. Strive for an effortless reach between octaves without strain. Work on dynamic levels like Christina Aguilera by practicing songs both extremely loud, then soft, and be able to manipulate that ability at will.
5
Exercise your vocal chords whenever possible and take good care of your voice. Ensure that you are healthy at all times, especially before singing, and even consider acquiring a doctor that specializes in vocalist health to help you keep your instrument in top shape.
Tips & Warnings
Note that Christina Aguilera's vocal range is very well controlled, which helped her to earn accolades as a top female vocalist of all time by MTV and Cove music lists.
Drink plenty of water and ensure that your environment is well humidified to help your voice to remain crisp and fluid.
Don't scream or yell frequently, as this will damage the vocal chords and create polyps.

MSN.com wrote: "The show-stealer: Christina Aguilera laying waste to James Brown's "It's a Man's World," at the end of a medley that also included Smokey Robinson singing "Tracks of My Tears" AND Lionel Richie singing "Hello." A vision in white, spilling out of her vest, pouring every last drop of oxygen she had into this tribute to the late Godfather, Aguilera was so powerful that it didn't matter if she'd ever heard of James Brown before. There was a lot of earnest tribute made to Brown all night, but Christina was better than earnest. She was great".
USAToday wrote:
"Most of the performances were surprisingly strong, the best of which was Christina Aguilera's take on James Brown's "It's a Man's World" Pouring every ounce of emotion she had into the mic, Aguilera's time on the stage might just go down in Grammy history as one of the best ever".

ANETTE OLZON - solo songs
In Stockholm in the studio in the middle of a forest and by a lake Anette was working in October and November on her first album. She was totally engaged in creating her first CD album. She wrote lyrics and melodies. Moreover she collaborated with Andreas Bagge and his two co-writer team. They did melodies. Anette said about it: "We co-operate so we all are participating on everything, except that its all my lyrics. I am a team player and this is the perfect solution for me."
On the album Anette would like to show the different styles of her voice then she used in Nightwish and Alyson Avenue. She woudn't be sing so high and belt all the time. On the album will be faster, relaxed and emotional stuff and shows a softer side of her. They song are so different from what she has done with Nightwish and Alyson Avenue. The music isn't rocky, it's acoustic. Many of her lyrics come from her own pain, both from being bullied and other hard times. She doesn't know exactly how the album will sound yet, since it all depends on what kind of label she goes to and so on, but it will not be metal. And she does'nt know if she ever will be touring the "world" again.
Anette wrote on her blog that Emppu (guitarist from Nightwish) will play a song and she is a bit of a gloomy lyrics writer. While she was writting lyrics, she was inspired by her hard or sad events in her life. On one song they used an old organ.
FROM ANETT'S DIARY
On 28 August 2009 met Anette Andreas Bagge in Stockholm. She talk with him and his two co-writer team about a collaboration to make songs for her solo album.
On 8 October 2009 sent Anette a first song to Anders that she made 3 years ago. Anette wrote about it on her blog: "I dont know if its something we can use but I want him to listen and see what he feels about it;=)"
19 October 2009 was the firs day in the studio. she was working all day together with Stefan and Johan. Anette was very happy with the results of work. In the evening she wrote a message on her blog to her fans:
" Its been really nice and also fun to sit down and making songs together. We have one song that is ready to record some vocals on tomorrow and then 2 more ideas that we will work more with. Now I just need to write some more lyrics to them, in my own private space.
This will be so great and its so nice to have such great songwriters and musicians to help me with the songs. We work that way that we sit down by the piano and the guitar and just try melodies etc and then I write down lyrics and we try and test the structure of the song. Then Johan goes and puts drums, bass etc in the computer to get the music recorded for me to test-sing it. Then we work from there. It´s so nice to create songs like this, I havent done that since we started Alyson Avenue, so its been a while but I´ll soon get a hang of it again;=)" - from Anette's blog 19 October 2009
On 21 October 2009 they did some first recordings on two songs.
" Today we worked really hard again and even if we all said we felt a bit more tired, the music still flowed. And I think its just fine to be a bit tired after just popping out music, lyrics and ideas all the days and nights. We also started working on 2 more ideas and I like the fact that we have done some different songs when it comes to tempo etc. In the end I want 10 or 11 songs and its good if we have at least 15-16 to choose from when that day comes." - Anette about recording session
On 22 October 2009 answered Anette:
"Sitting and working on some lyrics again for the 3rd song we started working on yesterday. This is a bit more encouraging and I think its great=) Today we drove by a music store on the way and I found lots of cool and nice guitars there;=) Still I havent practised so much guitar but someday I will;=) Now its more important to do my album first."
Anette in the studio
Than Anette had a little break from work. On 23 November 2009 she went back in the studio. On 23 February 2010 wrote Anette on her blog that she won't relase her solo album. "I am sure I will do a solo some other time, but at this time it doesn´t fit into my life and then it´s better to not do it, than to do it and it just wont feel good." - said Anette
On 3 July 2011 shared Anette on her official myspace page two songs she did in 2009.
"The first song is called Floating and I call it the "Cirkus"song. It gives me a happy feeling and the vibe in it is happy and joyful." - wrote Anette 3 July 2011
Floating (Demo 2009)
"Today we used an old old organ on the song and its sounds so nice. Real old instruments makes the songs so special;=)"- from Anette's blog 2 November 2009
Invincible (Demo 2009)
Anette about this song:
"Me and Johan decided to do some studio work ourselves and now we´re working on a beautiful slower song and I have just finished the lyrics. My son said I needed to do a song for him so this one is for him;=)" - from Anette's blog 18 November 2009
UPDATE:
Anette about realization of her solo album (16 April 2011):
"My autumn is quite full with Imaginarium so the solo will have to wait to be released. I will work with the production of the songs when I have the time and if I get a song ready I will put it out for you all to listen, but there wont be an album out. Then after Imaginarium and the tour - if I still feel like releasing it - I will do that then;=)"

UPDATE:
" I have no plans about the solo album yet so cant answer that just now;=) I will release it next year or at the latest 2014"
"17. 10.2012 I make new songs at the moment and that´s the best thing to do when life is in a little weirder state as mine is now;=)"
FRIDAY, 16 NOVEMBER 2012
"I just finished writing my new song that I´ve been working on for some weeks;=) This time I am doing the lyrics in Swedish and it was a bit hard but also challenging to do that and now I´ve just sent it to my friend Fredrik Bergh to see how it will sound after the music is added. Since I don't play instruments so well, I always need help with recording that and Fredrik is fast and really good at what he´s doing;=) The way we work is that I sing the song and record it directly in to Garage Band and set the tempo I want it to have. Then I write down the lyrics and also add little comments to Fredrik how I have thought the song should be "built". Then I send the song to iTunes and email lyrics and the song file to Fredrik and voila! - his magic can start working;=) I love the technology of today, making it so easy to create music, even when we live far apart in the country!"
" I have no plans about the solo album yet so cant answer that just now;=) I will release it next year or at the latest 2014"
On 30.11.2012 Anette has performed live two of her solo songs at the opening party of "Helsingborgs Arena" for the first time in her home town, Helsingborg with symphonic orchestre.
"The arrangement of the songs were different from how they sound on her demo. due to having the big orchestra to play. So this is just a little taste of my songs and when they are finished I am sure they will have new elements to them. But hearing the orchestra gave me ideas to how to arrange and record the songs for the album. We´ll see how the album will sound cause its always something that I will decide in the studio. And also about the language, it depends, if I am gonna go mainly for Swedish audience or a bigger audience world wide. Let´s see what happens! " - Anette about the songs

MANDY MOORE - Amanda Leigh
Jestem totalnie zaskoczona nowym stylem muzycznym. Do dzisiaj miałam w pamięci Mandy w stylu "Candy".
In October 2008, Moore posted on her website blog live videos of three new songs she had been working on, along with singer-songwriter, pianist and guitarist Mike Viola. It was at first expected to a be a duo album between the two, but then in January 2009, it was revealed it would be a solo album with a collaboration with him, slated for release in May 2009.
It was announced in February 2009 that the new album was to be released in May on the label Storefront Recordings. This label was founded by Moore's long time manager John Leshay. Confirmed tracks for the album are "Everblue", "Nothing/Everything", "Love To Love Me Back", "I Could Break Your Heart Any Day of the Week", and "Song About Home". Moore worked with Lori McKenna on the album once again.
The album's music variously channels Todd Rundgren, Joni Mitchell, and Paul McCartney. According to Moore, "The music is all a reflection of me now, not somebody else's choices.

I Could Break Your Heart Any Day of the Week
Billboard magazine said that "Mandy Moore has been a recording artist for 10 years and continues churning out mature, yet age-appropriate songs. The tongue-in-cheek single "I Could Break Your Heart Any Day of the Week" is a feel-good pop song with restrained production, refreshingly showcasing the melody and Moore's alluring vocals. She recorded her sixth studio album, "Amanda Leigh" (the title is the singer's birth name), with Boston producer Mike Viola, who tapped into a hand-clapped rhythm and funky clavinet sounds, resulting in a light and bubbly sound for the season."

kontrowersyjny wizerunek gwiazd - MADONNA, LADY GAGA, BRITNEY SPEARS, X TINA
Wyśmiewano ją i zaliczano do grona kiczowatych gwiazd.
Kilka skandali Lady Gagi:
1. Afera z penisem
2. Gaga założyła buty z obcasem w kształcie plastikowego penisa projektu Void of Course, które kosztują 4,5 tysiąca dolarów. Mimo wszystko, przezroczyste penisy kilka razy mignęły w kadrach.
Trwa on prawie 9 minut.
Sama Madonna osiągneła sukces i międzynarodową sławę dzięki skandalom i prowokacją.
Like a virgin (1984 mtv)
Zainteresowanie piosenkarką wzrosło jeszcze bardziej, gdy magazyny Penthouse i Playboy opublikowały serię aktów piosenkarki.
Słynne teledyski Like a Prayer i Justify My Love wzbudziły spore kontrowersje.
Klip (Like a prayer) wyreżyserowany przez Mary Lambert wywołał wiele kontrowersji.
Like a Prayer
Do piosenki "Justify my love" powstał kontrowersyjny teledysk, którego reżyserem jest Jean Baptiste-Mondino. Zdjęcia do teledysku trwały 14 dni. Na potrzeby wideoklipu Madonna wraz z ekipą wynajęła całe piętro ekskluzywnego, paryskiego hotelu Royal Monceau. Czarno-biały klip przedstawia niemal wszystkie rodzaje seksu.
Justify my love
Trasa "The Girlie Show Tour", określono jako najbardziej wulgarną i naładowaną seksualnie z dotychczasowych jej tras.
Ponadto zagrała w thrillerze erotycznym pt. Body of Evidence.
Body of Evidence
W wieku 13 lat zaczęła pić alkohol a dwa lata później brała narkotyki - tak twierdzi matka piosenkarki Lynne Spears, która umieściła te informacje w swojej książce Through The Storm.
Utwór „I’m Slave 4 You” budził pewne kontrowersje.
Satisfaction/ Oops I did it again
np.ogolenie głowy i atakowanie paparazzi z parasolką
Gimme more
Dirrty
Not myself tonight
